Texas Heat & Drought: By The Numbers

Everything is bigger in Texas, or so the saying goes. It seems like the cliché holds for heat waves and drought. According to the Texas State Climatologist John Nielsen-Gammon, the state is in the midst of its worst drought on record. This summer, Texas has also been breaking some of its all time heat records.
