Heat Wave in Motion
A blistering heat wave is hanging over much of the U.S., from the Plains to the Northeast. In more than half of the country, daytime temperatures have reached well into the 90s and 100s for several days. Earlier this week, NOAA released this animation showing the predicted daily high temperatures (July 13-21) coming from their North American Model (NAM).
